What Is Your Favorite Way To Move?

No, I'm not talking about having someone pack your stuff and lift all the boxes to move to a new house, I'm asking you what is your favorite way to move your body? Notice I didn't say "exercise"? That word seems to draw negative feelings from many who have a hard time exercising for various reasons.  So my advice? Don't exercise....just move. So what's YOUR favorite way to move? Is it walking? Riding a bike? Is it dancing?  Is it horseback riding? Playing basketball, soccer, etc?   Find what you LIKE to do that involves movement and just do more of it.  See exercising sounds like a chore, but if all you think you have to do is MOVE and move to something you enjoy, then there aren't the negative feelings of, "I have to..." So find what "MOVES YOU" and go do it. You will have much more fun doing it and will do it more often.  So, what is YOUR favorite way to move? Always Safe, Always Works, Always Green See w

Why Does There Seem To Be More Cases Of Bad Behavior In Children?

I see it everywhere I go. Children behaving badly and I mean really bad. Maybe it’s because I am getting older, but there seems to be an increase in the number of children acting out. Now, don’t misunderstand me, I know there are countless reasons to what I see as every child acts out now and then and I agree. Mine sure does! I also understand that there are more special needs children such as those with Autism. I think there is a correlation with the rise of those numbers as well. I also know that some parenting experts would say it’s due to a lack of parental discipline, too much exposure to violence, too much screen time with computes, phones and TV, etc. To all of that I say, agree, agree, agree. But I also know there is another cause – the amounts of household toxins have risen. From perfumy laundry detergents and fabric softeners to household cleaners, to scented fabric sprays, children are much more exposed to dangerous chemicals in the home and sc

Supplements To Avoid

Dear Shaklee Family, When it comes to choosing the right supplement it can be “buyer beware”. The problem is there are some supplements that are actually dangerous and a few can even be fatal. A new report has emerged that highlights a new set of dietary supplements being marketed by unscrupulous vitamin manufactures that you need to be made aware of. We wanted to tell you about these new dangerous supplements and we urge you to share this info with your friends. This report, authored by Dr. Stephen Chaney is a real eye opener. I trust Dr. Chaney as he does such thorough research into every study, paper and journal publication to help us better understand what it all means. You can read his article on these dangerous new supplements here: Supplements To Avoid As the doctor states, these dangerous supplements are not easy to spot on the labels so you must educate yourselves if you are buying products other than Shaklee’s. This is just another reason I trust S

Recipe: Chocolate Covered Bananas

Do you have some over-ripe bananas dying a slow death on the counter? No one will eat them because they are yucky, right? Here’s a great way to use them and have a semi-healthy treat! You only want to use very ripe bananas so the mushy ones are perfect for this. Peel bananas and cut off any brown areas. Slice bananas in the size you want. I like to cut mine where they can be eaten in 2-3 bites. The chocolate will melt on little fingers if too big. Melt some semi-sweet chocolate chips in a bowl for 1 minute in the microwave. Stir. Take tongs and dip banana slices in chocolate. Take a spoon and cover banana slice on all sides with chocolate. With tongs transfer chocolate covered banana slices to a freezer safe plate, arrange in just one layer and not touching. Do not cover plate. Work fast as the chocolate will cool quickly and harden. You may want to do melt small batches of chocolate at a time to prevent this. Place open plate in freezer till frozen.

An Easy and Safe Way To Clean Your Oven

Oven cleaning – not everyone’s favorite task. The Holidays are coming and so are your guests. If the reason you ban everyone from the kitchen is because you don’t want them to see your dirty oven, you now have a way to get that oven clean. Even if you have a self-cleaning oven you still have to get in there and clean it some as not all burnt on food comes off so easy. Then there’s the smell. Yuck! So you write oven cleaner on your grocery list. But wait! There is a heavy price to pay for using oven cleaners. Oven cleaners are some of the most dangerous and toxic products on the market.
