Doing What You Want To

One of the benefits of owning your own business is being able to schedule breaks in your day. Like today I was able to walk with a friend. :) Being in charge of your own business can be work, but it can also mean more time available to do other things that are important to you. It is possible to do both, but you need to ask yourself, "What kind of work do I want to do?" Many people say, "I don't want to sell to my friends. I don't want to bother my family and friends and beg them to buy off of me." I can relate to that as I am like that. Would you like a business then where you educate and teach rather than sell?  We have a business for you that allows you to do just that. Become an educator, a teacher, a consultant, whatever you choose, we can show you a business that allows you to do it comfortably in your own way. Then there are others who love to sell things to people that they need and want a business that can provide that opportunity.  Y

Science Talk: Breastfeeding Support

Do you know someone who is interested in breastfeeding their baby? When my son was born I remember the challenges we faced and I am so happy I sought help and was able to nurse him into the healthy child he is today. I naturally had a ton of questions and I’m sure you did, too. The subject of breastfeeding and support for moms who want to breastfeed is really popular. Many new moms have so many questions and while there is a ton of information out there, it’s nice to have the answers in one place and delivered to you from medical professionals who understand the benefits and the challenges. We have a wonderful audio recording this month that discusses some of the most frequently asked questions about breastfeeding with additional suggestions. Here is the link to Science Talk:Breastfeeding Support This short audio is packed with some great information and it can be listened to on any device or as a podcast. I think you will really enjoy it. Feel free to sha

Healthy Blood pressure - Is this a concern for you?

Keeping your blood pressure in the healthy range is doable even if you have a family history of high blood p ressure. The best time to work on having a healthy blood pressure is before it begins to creep up, however the steps you take either before you have high blood pressure or after are the same - a healthy diet rich in the nutrients that support healthy blood pressure, like mentioned in the short video here, and supplementing with them if your body is requiring more than you can get from diet alone. Along with a healthy, active lifestyle you can have a healthier blood pressure. While supplementing to prevent disease is easier than treating it, you can achieve a healthier blood pressure even if you are currently having problems. There is a process to this and it should not be done without working closely with your doctor. Please do not stop taking any medication in the hope this will cure your high blood pressure. We work with you and your doctor, helping you to incorpor

Wouldn’t it be better to not get sick at all? Even if you do succumb to a virus, many people who have made the investment of building a healthy immune system seem to have less severe symptoms and a shorter time down. We have some wonderful immune boosting ideas as well as what to do at that moment when you feel something starting to come on.
