Air Fresheners

Can contain highly flammable ingredients. Can cause irritation to the eyes, throat and lungs. Can cause asthma like symptoms.

Can contain bulane, propane, ammonia, phenol and formaldehyde.

Can cause harm including asthma, central nervous system damage, liver damage, cancer.
We all want a clean smelling home, right?

We have been brainwashed by marketers though to think our homes smell so bad we have to cover them up with highly toxic and pungent smells.

Exposure to these toxic fumes can cause severe harm, especially to babies, children and anyone who has a respiratory problem.
Many parents have reported their children's asthma greatly improved by just stopping the use of air fresheners and other toxic cleaners.

There are much safer and very effective ways to freshen your home without resorting to toxic chemicals and best of all, these ways are often free or very inexpensive!

Some natural ways to freshen the indoors are:

- Open windows. No matter the temperature outside, it's always best to open the windows every day, even if just a short time. This helps exchange the air inside making it healthier or smelling fresh. There's nothing much nicer than smelling the fresh outdoors!

- Clean your floors often. We all get busy, but if we leave the vacuuming go too long dirt and odors build up in our rugs. Learn efficient ways to save time and keep floors clean by following tips from time management experts online.

- Look to Nature and her fragrances when you want to add a hint of scent. There are many natural plants and flowers that you can bring in and set out or in water to recreate a natural scent. Online has a ton of natural ways to do just that! Certain houseplants are great for cleaning the air and they look beautiful, too!

- Learn to bake or just bake ready made things. There are even healthy recipes you can make that will fill your home with that lovely smell of baked goods. Yum!

- Use natural, safe and effective household cleaners that don't cover up smells. They clean with natural ingredients and your home just smells clean. Check out our natural, safe, non-toxic cleaners that are guaranteed to work as well, and often better than the toxic brands. All while saving you money, too!
Now that's worth taking a deep breath!

The quickest way to get me to leave is to have air fresheners in your home. I get sick, my eyes and throat burn, I have trouble breathing and an instant headache.
I prefer to save money and my health by avoiding the toxic brands. Plus I'm naturally lazy when it comes to cleaning, so I like to use something that works harder than I do.

Testimony: ADD

I'm an adult with ADD but was never diagnosed. Scanning my old report cards, I see "doesn't concentrate, can't stay on task, has focusing problems". All I knew growing up was that I seemed to be on a different page than everyone else. I'm the mother of 2 girls. Niki is 21 and I'm soooo proud of her. She is in Military Intelligence with the Army and is fluent in Russian and Spanish. With the physical and mental challenges she faces, she grabs a handful of B Complex and knows she can get through anything. Then, there is Kristina, my 13 year old. Diagnosed at 4 with ADHD, I knew from birth she was different. The doctor put her on Ritalin but it didn't work. We tried something else but she was getting worse. I was in nursing school and studying everything on ADD but having no success. At 7, medication kept her from sleeping so we had to put her on more medicine to sleep. She would disappear in the middle of the night. Often we

The Secret of Basic H® in Your Garden

Summertime is when all of us want to enjoy the beauty and bounty of our gardens – but who wants to spend all their time taking care of them ? Basic-H® has been used for years by farmers and home gardeners alike to reduce the amount of watering time, improve the quality of the soil, and treat for pests. Even in those areas where Basic-H® Soil Conditioner is not available (Pennsylvania, for instance), you can still get great results by using Basic-H®, Basic-G ® and Liqui-Lea ®. The best information we’ve found on using Basic-H in the garden has come from MaryAnn and Mike Mizicko of Vienna, Ohio. Mike is a very successful truck farmer – and Basic-H is his secret! Be careful to note special circumstances, such as whether to spray on foliage, to apply only to the soil around plants, avoid spraying on blooming trees or plants, and other restrictions. Basic-H is a surfactant, not a fertilizer, so don’t use one concentration for all uses, or you will kill the plants you love. Soil P
