This is a picture of me showing up to an all
you can eat buffet - do you look like this, too?
I always believed food
was meant to be enjoyed.
Some of you all may
have money riding on the Super Bowl today, but I'm willing to bet that most of you will take all that hard work done this month in getting healthier and losing
weight and chuck it all away with wings, chips and beer!
Hey, it's OK to
indulge a little on special occasions as long as you balance it out.
Put these 7 tips in
your playbook:
- Eat super light and healthier earlier in the day.
- Drink lots and lots of water.
- Make your final meal before heading out to the party full of fresh veggies and lean protein. Think skinless chicken or hard-boiled egg on a huge salad.
- Eat a serving of veggies with your other rich food from the buffet during the party, and eat slowly. Load up on the veggies first, then work your way down the buffet.
- Go easy on both the soft and hard drinks - they're just empty calories.
- Eat light and healthy the rest of this week and don't skip your workouts.
- And most importantly, have fun! It's OK, you deserve it!
Yes, you can survive Super Bowl Sunday and still enjoy yourself, including the buffet.
Just pull out some smart moves from your playbook and execute flawless plays.
Getting up off of the couch, jumping up and down and yelling at the TV does count towards your cardio today, too. 😉
