Dr. Westcott also served as an editorial advisor, reviewer, writer, and columnist for numerous research, professional, and trade journals.

He has received many professional honors, including awards from the President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, the Governor’s Committee on Physical Fitness and Sports, and the Pennsylvania State University.
