Do your mornings ever look like this?
You are rushing around, trying to light a fire under your
kids to finish breakfast, get dressed, brush teeth, pack lunches, get all the
papers, folders, books into the right backpacks and get out the door on time?
Right when you are teetering on the edge of a nervous
breakdown, one child yells out, “Mom! The toilet is stopped up and about to
overflow!”
You let out an, “Uggghhh! Don’t anybody flush it or it will
overflow all over the floor!”
You then mumble the words, “I don’t have time for this!”
You figure, you’ll just get to it later, only to forget
about it till someone else does, too and tries to use it. Oops.
That happens here on a fairly regular basis. Not sure why it
always waits to do that when we are rushing, but that’s life.
I have found a trick that seems to work quite often.
I will
pour a squirt of Basic-H²
into the bowl of the stopped up toilet, slam the lid shut and walk away. Later when I remember, I will flush it with crossed fingers and to my surprise, it often flushes down! Yay! One less thing I have to fix!
I have found that since Basic-H²
has the ability to make “water wetter” by breaking down the surface tension
allowing water to be more penetrating and loosening of dirt, it often helps the
breakdown of…let’s just call them “piles” of poop and too much toilet paper. I
know, T.M.I.
Basic-H²
seems to help loosen everything up and allow it to be just flushed away.
Now of course, I am not saying that Basic-H² will un-stop every toilet, but it does work magic on
the small blockages – where water can drain, albeit very slowly.
Just make sure
the water in the bowl isn’t too high before you flush!
So, just another reason why I LOVE Basic-H²!
