March Healthy News

Welcome to the March Healthy Newsletter!

March is a fickle month. Warm and sunny one day, cold, snowy and windy the next. I don’t know about you, but we can’t wait for Spring! That is why I love seeing crocus coming up. They remind me of how beautiful Spring is and that it will eventually come!

Don’t forget to set your clocks forward one hour this Sunday, March 9th. We may lose an hour of sleep, but I am so looking forward to longer daylight hours!

Shaklee is running an awesome special for anyone thinking of trying Shaklee. If someone new places an order of $50 PV (point value) they get free membership and a savings of $67.95 that comes with a free Café’ Latte Smoothee! So if you haven’t joined Shaklee yet, now is the time! If you know someone who wants to join and you are already a member – you get a referral bonus! So make sure they say you referred them so you get your bonus!

For our existing members, we have some great rewards.

Free Products to Try – We are offering to local people a free trial of our Get Clean caddy. In it you will find products that will clean your entire home and enough to do a few loads of laundry. You get to try the products for free and give us your opinion. If you live out of the area, I can help you with some samples. This caddy is very popular, so you will want to get on our list right away to reserve yours.

Referral Rewards - We offer referral rewards to you in the form of rebates. For every person you refer who becomes a member and orders a minimum of $50PV(point value), we will give you $5 back off your next order. If they order over $100PV you will get $10.00 off of your next order. This is a great way to help pay for your own products!

Learn & Earn - Another way we offer rebates is our “Learn & Earn” program. This is where we provide you links to short, but informative online seminars that we have on different ways to improve your health and your life. They are short videos or audio recordings online. You can hear from experts in the field of nutrition, research, from medical doctors, specialists and more. They offer advice and information on specific topics that you can watch at your convenience. You learn about ways to improve your health, and then you can get free shipping rebates. You get to choose which ones you want to see. If you want to enroll in our “Learn & Earn” program, contact us today and we will help you get started! It’s free!

Hosting - We also offer generous rewards to anyone wanting to host a “Healthy Beauty” hour where you can try the skin care line for free, or a “Get Clean” safe cleaners event, or a “Get Healthy” hour for their friends and family. This is where we come to you and talk with a small gathering of those you care about who want to learn more and try out the products for free. Again we offer rebates as well as gifts to the host/hostess. If you live out of the area and still want to help your friends, I can help you put together an event and supply you with the materials you need. You still get all the rebates and rewards. These are very informal and simple events and we make it a lot of fun! So contact me today to schedule your time slot or for more info.

Don’t keep Shaklee a secret – help a loved one out by sharing our information with them!

Wishing you great health and warm weather!

Julie

The Secret of Basic H® in Your Garden

Summertime is when all of us want to enjoy the beauty and bounty of our gardens – but who wants to spend all their time taking care of them ? Basic-H® has been used for years by farmers and home gardeners alike to reduce the amount of watering time, improve the quality of the soil, and treat for pests. Even in those areas where Basic-H® Soil Conditioner is not available (Pennsylvania, for instance), you can still get great results by using Basic-H®, Basic-G ® and Liqui-Lea ®. The best information we’ve found on using Basic-H in the garden has come from MaryAnn and Mike Mizicko of Vienna, Ohio. Mike is a very successful truck farmer – and Basic-H is his secret! Be careful to note special circumstances, such as whether to spray on foliage, to apply only to the soil around plants, avoid spraying on blooming trees or plants, and other restrictions. Basic-H is a surfactant, not a fertilizer, so don’t use one concentration for all uses, or you will kill the plants you love. Soil P...

Testimony: ADD

I'm an adult with ADD but was never diagnosed. Scanning my old report cards, I see "doesn't concentrate, can't stay on task, has focusing problems". All I knew growing up was that I seemed to be on a different page than everyone else. I'm the mother of 2 girls. Niki is 21 and I'm soooo proud of her. She is in Military Intelligence with the Army and is fluent in Russian and Spanish. With the physical and mental challenges she faces, she grabs a handful of B Complex and knows she can get through anything. Then, there is Kristina, my 13 year old. Diagnosed at 4 with ADHD, I knew from birth she was different. The doctor put her on Ritalin but it didn't work. We tried something else but she was getting worse. I was in nursing school and studying everything on ADD but having no success. At 7, medication kept her from sleeping so we had to put her on more medicine to sleep. She would disappear in the middle of the night. Often we...
