One of the nicest things you can give to the people you love is a healthy and happy you. 

You can't give away what you do not have. 

You can't help someone choose a healthier life if you haven't. 

You can't show someone the path to happiness if you aren't on that same path. 

You can't give away love if you don't have any for yourself in your heart.

In order to take care of those you love, you must first take care of yourself - physically, emotionally and spiritually.

It is NOT selfish to take care of yourself, it actually makes you more efficient at giving to others.
