Hungry? Want to curb a craving? Heading for the sweet or salty snacks?
Stop and think - when was the last time you drank some water?
Your body may just be dehydrated, a feeling often confused as hunger.
Try drinking a big, cold glass of water and wait 20 minutes.
Often times the craving will disappear, you won't feel hungry and the cold water burns a few more calories than tepid water.
If you must flavor your water, stay away from water additives - they may be low in calories, but often have additives and colorings that can actually add weight to you - they are tricky!
Instead try a little lemon or lime, or a slice of orange, strawberries or cherries.
